Make a sales handoff easy for the next person
Keep the customer problem, permission, next action, and ownership together when a lead moves forward.

Begin with the customer problem
A useful handoff is more than a contact and a product name. It explains what the customer wants to change, what was actually discussed, and what remains unknown. A caller should be able to capture that information without teaching a technical architecture lesson. Keep the opening conversation centered on the business problem and the agreed next step.
Capture a short, usable record
Use a fictional prospect to test the workflow. Record their stated concern, the service or product discussed, the source of the inquiry, and who owns the follow-up. Separate a direct quotation from an AI-generated summary. Record permission to contact them where appropriate, and keep marketing consent separate from a request for a specific conversation. Do not make participation in a newsletter a condition for answering an inquiry.
Show the next person what to do
A handoff needs an action with an owner and an expected date. Ask the receiving person to explain the next step using only the record. If they must search a long transcript to find the customer's question, improve the summary. If the caller mentioned an offer, link to its current scope and availability. Keep services from Simplicity IT distinct from software products from Simple Intelligence Group.
Verify the difficult paths
Try a duplicate inquiry, a wrong company match, a changed owner, and a request not to be contacted again. Check what the actual receiving workflow does in each case. A notification is a useful alert, but it is not proof that the CRM record exists or that the next action has an owner. For a pilot, measure time to an appropriate follow-up and the share of records another team member can act on without clarification.
Bring these questions to your walkthrough
- What did the customer ask for?
- Which consent applies to this next step?
- Who owns the next action?
- Can the next person act without replaying the entire conversation?
These are evaluation questions. The product page states current availability, trial conditions, and implementation limits.
